This company led me to believe that without their service, my son could not call me call me from jail without incurring huge phone bills unless I had their 'service'. Not being familiar with jail protocol, I fell for their scam and paid the fees. After paying, I found out I had to pay into a prepaid account for my son to call which was set up by the jail's own contractor. Jail Call Services had nothing to do with them. I called the jail and was told that these people prey on people this way all the time and work around the edges of what is legal. I have tried to call them back and every time I get an answering machine that does not seem to ever be followed up on. The one time I got a live human, she told me that her company had nothing to do with jail calls, and to call the jail. I am hoping the bank can stop payment on this when they open Monday!
