On Oct.13,2013, it was a Sunday. My friend from Germany and I were traveling but separate in the city of Toronto, I was trying to get in touch with them, but because my phone(US number) doesn't have any service in downtown, the only choice I have is to use a payphone. Back then, I only have cash(CAD$5 & $20) and my credit card with me. Since the payphone doesn't accept cash but only coins and credit cards, and it was very urgent for me to get in touch with them, the only reasonable move is pick up the phone and use my credit card instead of break the cash.
Meantime, I tried to call my friend her German number twice, but she didn't pick up her phone the two times I called from the payphone.
Even though she didn't answer my calls I made from the payphone, I still get charged for the calls I made, $21.14 each time, which means I got charged $42.24 for nothing!!!
