I ordered the Lift Vapor Starter Kit on Sept. 24th. My account was debited for about $7 the next day. I received an email on the 24th saying that the trial package should arrive on October 2d. So I left to go hiking on Wednesday, October 1st. I returned home on October 4th and found my product had been delivered on September 30th. So it took six days for Vapor Lift to send me the product (the stamps.com showed a postage date of 09/25), misrepresenting the delivery date. I thought I was okay until today when I called a CS company representing Lift Vapor. I was informed that my ten trial period ended yesterday and that I would be charged $148.

I pointed out that six days of my trial period were spent in processing the order and delivery. I assumed my trial period would begin on the date of delivery. Now I've practiced law for 18 years, so I think I know a thing or two about this matter.

I will attempt to put a complaint into my bank Monday morning (the $148 transaction is still pending) to stop payment. But what if I don't get my full refund? Do I have to spend thousands of dollars filing a fraud/breach of contract suit in the company's home state, Connecticut? It would costs thousands.

This company will not survive based upon their fraudulent practices. Word will get out.

  • I ordered the Free trial for $7.90 on 9/14/2013 and was received on 9/22/2013. Upon receiving my last credit card statement I noticed an additional charge of $148.00. I have disputed said amount with my credit card company and hope to be reimbursed for this outrageous charge. At no time during the purchase process was a mention of any other terms or agreements. This is a complete scam and should be investigated by proper authorities!
