In March 2013 Phillip Sato with Vacation Communications Group called and said he could sell my timeshare for what I thought big money. I was skeptical but he asked me to trust him just 1% and I did. A few days later I received the contract to sign and pay $1,898.00 which I did.
I didn't hear anything else until July 2013 and he called again. He said I told you I would not let you down and that he had gone to the closing department and that a Daniel Logan would be handling the closing. The first thing was that they needed $1,500.00 to clear things up with the bank before I could receive the money. So (fool of me) I said o. k. and sent the money. The next day Daniel Logan called and gave me a code number to present to FedEx when they delivered the money. So I thought everything's o. k. But not so. A little later Daniel Logan called again and said they needed another $1,500.00 to activate the code. I told him I did not have it. He came back and said maybe if we give them something they will activate the code and asked what I could send. I told him $500.00 was what I would be willing to send. So he supposedly had to check with someone else but when he came back he said they would split the difference and accept $1,000.00 for the balance and that I would not need to send anything else.
So I sat home for several days waiting for a phone call to tell me when I would receive the money. But no phone call. I called several times and left messages on the answering machine but no one ever returned my call.
After several days of calling and trying to reach someone, late one afternoon a Michael Pierce answered the phone. I told him everything that had happened from day one. He promised to check things out and get back in touch in about 3 days. Of course I never heard from him. I kept calling and all I got was the answering machine.
So folks I learned my lesson. I will never trust anyone again about selling a timeshare. It is all a scam. They only lied to me and stole $4,398.00 hard earned dollars from me.
