I found them online and after reading the FAQ i found out there would not be a charge unless a loan was agreed in principle.
I requested a loan through them, and recieved 2 contacts.
I applied with one company Norton Finance and the loan was unsucessful.
The other company 1-1 loans text requesting i contact them the max the could offer was 3,000 well below my actual request with finance facility, also noted when googled about the company they charge 1.50 per min for calls and the call was to last approx 20 min... needless to say i never contacted them.
Couple of days later 79.95 was taken from my bank account.

I contacted the company that day and was told they were within there rights.
I informed them their information was misleading and i wanted a refund, and contacted the Financial ombudsman service.

There have been emails and letter back and forth but the company just keep reitiating i have read their terms and conditions...
My complaint is not that i had to pay for a service but that their infomation is misleading and this is not being addressed.

It says clearly in what will it cost to apply section of the FAQ " the fee of 79.95 only become applicable one a lender has approved your loan in prinicple"

Their defination of this is when they send you names of loan companies, everyone else's defnation of this is when you have actually applied for the loan with a company and you are waiting for them to approve it.

They know full well that most people will NOT be reading through all their terms and conditions, and alongside their misleading information and holding onto customers 79.95 in their bank accounts for 6 months this is pretty poor all round for the customer.
