We purchased three sections of this flexable hose because we were tired of winding up heavy hose all the time. When we saw ehis ad on TV on how light it was and how it was good for life it seemed like the way to go.We bought the first one and for two days it was great then it started leaking, so we got a second one and it lasted about a week and it to leaked. The third one we bought was about a week old ,was useing it to water the lawn and all of the sudden the hose split in half. It is my opinion that these hoses are not was the company are making them out to be.The recoil is just the expanding shown in reverse.
