I purchased a 2000 Jaguar S type from the above mentioned dealer on the above mentioned date. On Oct 9 2011 the car stopped running with a failsafe engine mode detail on the dashboard. D & D told me their mechanics had no experience with this type car so I took it to a dealership. The Jag dealership reported to me that in order to get the car running it would cost upwards of 1200.00, as well as informing me that there were numerous other problems with the car all totaling 7900.00, the warranty D & D gave me for basic powertrain coverage turned out to be only worth 600.00 worth and according to the warranty people at Global Warranty they covered none of the problems listed for the vehicle, to which I was informed by D & D that it covered powertrain, drivetrain, and transmission. When I contacted the owner of D & D he informed me that all he was willing to do was send me to a mechanic their company deals with which would be a cheaper cost to me. He proceeded to inform me that his company would not be paying for anything and that was the best he could do for me in sending me to a cheaper mechanic. I informed him this car was a lemon and should've never been sold with all the major work which needs to be done. He told me that was my problem and if I didnt want to take it to the cheaper mechanic he has done all he was willing to do and hung up on me. I am a disabled vet with debilitating back problems needing surgery and am unable to even sit up on days let alone do much walking or standing. Even to tend my basic needs is a seriously painful chore. I am in desperate need of assistance. No transportation, no money, and doctor appointments which are more than 40 miles away.
