Got a letter for approval on $5000 loan, was asked to pay insurance security deposit of $175. Thought it was legit as they had my information. Fell for it, should have quit there as now they asked for $150 due to my credit score. When they called me back they said the $150 had been refunded and I'll get a check in 7-10 days but because I bought it at a 7-11 there were technical difficulties and had to get another $150 to secure the loan. They said they will call me back on tomorrow. Wish I had this information earlier as when I check yesterday I couldn't find anything that said they weren't on the up and up
