Contact your bank and CANCEL YOUR CHECK/CHANGE YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER IMMEDIATELY. This company is fraudulent. We are lucky that after we saw the website doesn't work, we immediately put freezes on our accounts. Work with your bank. And I'm sorry if you paid in cash. You're not getting any magazines, sounds like.

Our story:

Just like the others on here, two young men came to our door in the evening "selling magazines to raise money for a trip to Italy." They convinced us that we could write the check and cancel and they'd still get half the points they needed to earn their trip. We felt assured that they would call us before cashing our check, according to the "CA Buyer's Beware Act". Once they left, we looked into it, feeling suspicious, and immediately called our banks to report possible fraud. We changed our bank account numbers, so they hopefully won't be able to cash our checks (2 magazine subscriptions for $59 each).

I wonder if these kids really think they're going to Italy? They were so convincing, saying things like, "I wouldn't be able to sleep with myself at night if it were a scam" and "here's our fancy ID cards they gave us so we can sell in CA."
