They misrepresented that they were Apple support and claimed they checked my Apple warranty and it had expired. Then proceeded to sell me a $99.99 support package, transferred me to a tech who then told me to connect my iPad to my desktop, then told me when whatever he did did not work "you have a virus and for $59.99 he could install an anti-virus so he could proceed to fix my iPad. Never received rebate promised or e-mails promised! When I learned they were a scam and requested a refund, they switched me for two days from one department to another. I notified my credit card company to refuse payment to MyTechHelp. MTH wanted to access my computer to be sure I had uninstalled the anti-virus. When the tech tried, my new anti-virus program blocked the tech with a noticed that Remotezilla was unsafe due to a problem with their security certificate. I would not allow them access to my computer again. I'll let my credit card company deal with them! 7/17/2013

  • I have exactly same issue except that I was charged $99.99 and $79.99. My computer was fine before they installed crazy softwares. I should have questioned them as I saw they searched for a program to install from Google but I did not!! After several attempts to fix my iPhone failed, I was hung up. I called back and got a message that they closed! I talked to customer service and she said I should go online to fill in rebate form to get my money back. Guess what? The form does not exist!! Right now, my credit card is taking care of this. What's a nightmare!
