I booked an airport shuttle with Viator for Sunday June 30, 2013 for myself, for pickup at 10:45 am at the airport in Barcelona, Spain. Nobody showed up to pick me up. I spent over an hour walking around looking for my shuttle or anything indicating Viator, or the local company AeroCity, and there was nobody there. I tried to call the phone number on my voucher and the number did not work. I had to finally take a taxi to my hotel and spend over $40 Euros on top of the money I paid in advance for the airport shuttle that never showed up to pick me up. When I got to the hotel I emailed Viator to let them know that I was abandoned at the airport and asked for a refund. 9 days later, after writing them a negative review on Facebook, I received an email saying they were looking into it. Today, 17 days later, I received another email saying that their investigation came to the conclusion that I did not show up for the airport shuttle. This company is a complete rip off. All I want is my $27.46 refunded, I have proof of travel, boarding pass, stamp on my passport from the Barcelona airport customs, receipt for the taxi I had to pay, proof of check in at the hotel, and confirmation I went on a 9 day Europe tour (with another company thankfully) starting in Barcelona on June 30. I want my money back from Viator! I deserve a refund! I seriously can not believe they are accusing me of not showing up!
