November 11/21/2012 I contacted SC Law to assist me for Home loan modification. Before I started my loan modification process I gave them all the required information. After providing all financial my information I asked them which also included Manager what are my chances. They all assured me I should have no problem getting the loan modification. I started processing the loan application. Their fees were $3700 which needs to be paid in TWO installments. They ask me to send them TWO pre post date checks. I sent them only ONE check and as soon they received the check they deposited right away. I called them and they indicated that was mistake. Latter on me sent them SECOND check of $1850. They also had my Bank account information.
I received letter from Wells Fargo my mortgage holder denying loan modification.
I try to contact them several times by phone, email and also faxed them letter from Wells Fargo but did not receive any response for which they charged $3700.
I also had second Mortgage which I told them I will proceed with my second Mortgage after my FIRST loan modification is approved. Their charges to Process SECOND Mortgage were $1500 which needs to pay in TWO installments. I did not sign any documentation to process my second mortgage but without any authorization they withdraw $750 from my Bank account on 1/30/2013. When I contacted them they indicated they will refund my money and that was a mistake . I made several phone call and staff was keep saying they will process and I should see in my Bank account. As of today no refund was issued. Nothing is done with my loan modification and I wasted $4450 which I want it back.
