We had a table and chairs listed on Craigslist. Received an email from Maria Lorchart to clarify some information, then we received another email stating they wanted to purchase, but could not pick it up. They supposedly sent payment to PayPal with an extra $550, and asked us to wire $500 through Western Union to Stewart Suttles so that he could pay Rediff Shipping Company to pick up the furniture.
We received semi-legitimate looking emails with a PayPal logo, asking us to reply to let them know when we wire the $500 so that they could release the PayPal funds.
No one by that name at PayPal. No funds waiting to be released. I'm keeping my table and chairs and money, thank you very much.
