I was talking to them about a netgear N300 USB adapter. We used a program call teamviewer. Then the tech had total controll of my computer. At first he said it wouldnt connect.My screen kept blanking out.(never did it before) The he said it was connected.I have Norton Internet security.It lets me know if anything is trying to infect,change , or spy on my computer.It scans daily and let me know of any changes.Norton is 1 of the internet top 3 virus protection program. and the one he recommended is not listed.When he ran his program trojan virus pop up. Everytime i start my computer it scans and that never pop up.And i asked why wouldnt it pop up with mines and he asked how much did i pay for it. I replied thats not important or any of your business what comes out my pocket. He hung up. Then i called back and ask to speak to a supervisor. he put me on hold and came back to the phone and said i had the wrong number.Now my computer has a virus, when i called about Netgear Wireless USB adapter

  • Very frankly, i have been their customer for 4 months and have had their services consistently. They have always helped me in everything from printer installation to router configuration. I am very happy with their services and recommend it to my friends. Looking at your comments because it seems that you did not even pay a single penny i don't know how you can ask for money back. Maybe your job is to target companies to get money out of them. Anyways I am a happy customer. Name - Suzan joe

  • I am a Geeks support customer, they have taken care of all my computer problem though I have been very suspicious. Today someone called claiming to be from Geeks technical support with an update. They had me install teamviewer, then asked for my banking info. That's when I hung up and tried to shut teamviewer down, it wouldn't shut down.I called my number for Geeks technical support and tried to open their window. Somebody took over and shut Geeks window and started getting into system files. The Geeks tech told me to immediately shut off the internet which I did but they already trashed Windows. Geeks helped me remove the hackers programs and repaired all the damage.He told me if anyone called again to ask for my customer number if they don't have it they are scamers. Since I have been with Geeks Technical Support I have had no viruses or trouble, just the impostor. Don't confuse them with Geeks support live.
