My IPhone 4 which I purchased from Verizon and was on its original warrantee stopped working. i was always extremely careful making sure it never was exposed to moisture. I returned it to Verizon and they replaced it with a refurbished IPhone 4. Verizon indicated that the returned phone had moisture damage and the strip indicator "turned" therefore I was responsible for paying $299 + tax of about $25 for the replacement phone. The bill came this month. Since I was certain that I did not introduce any moisture on the phone I contacted first Verizon and secondly Apple and neither would take responsibility. After doing some research I found out that there is a $53 million lawsuit with Apple because the phone strips are defective and customers like myself are being charged twice for the replacement phone. Can you help? Thankx!
