I was in Geneva airport yesterday. My plane was delayed so I used my credit card to make a quick local call to my family in Geneva using the airport payphone. I spoke for 60 seconds or less. $23.10 were subsequently debited from my Visa card for this 1 minute local call (instead of the much lower advertised rate...).I was directed to this payphone by an employee at the Swissport main information desk. How is it possible that airports around the world support such a scam?
