I sent in my laptop for, as I was told, a video card repair/replacement. The first thing that happened was they told me my hard drive needed replacing, for a whole $175. I agreed since they told me they would do a data transfer. To give you an idea of the unacceptably low level of professionalism, they didn't actually do the data transfer and only offered a mere third of the price in compensation, not to mention it took them two weeks to do this, which should only take a few days max. I constantly had to contact them, as they never contacted me about anything even when they told me they would call. Next, my video card needed replacement. This took them another two weeks to do, pathetically enough. When I finally received my computer back, it was not in an adequate laptop shipping box like the one I PURCHASED to send my laptop to them. It arrived in a beaten up cardboard box about 5 ft by 6 ft by 5 ft (way too large for a laptop). my laptop and old hard drive were simply placed in this box and surrounded by a haphazardly created ball of bubble wrap and tape (incredibly unprofessional packaging, I own a shipping company). As if all of this wasn't a joke enough, buttons on my computer are no longer working after I got it back, and I am getting the same crashes I had before the 'repair' (if you can call it that). All in all, they charged me upwards of 800 dollars for less than half ass service and no real fix. Their 'top' technician took two hours of my time to screw around and finally tell me he couldn't fix my computer's buttons. Do yourself a favor and NEVER use mytechhelp for anything, they are not only a scam, but the least professional company and service I have ever encountered. They make a me wish for an outsourced call, since their American customer support makes a mockery of itself with poor communication and lack of professional conduct not to mention they actually have no idea what they are doing with your device. A joke if there ever was one.
