To Whom It May Concern:

This started on 6/20/11 after I received an advertising mailer and we saw this company 'Air Care Solutions' offering a bundled package, it was actually called the Gold Promotion for $79, it consisted of cleaning the Air Ducts, the Dryer vent, cleaning and servicing the Air conditioning unit which included adding Freon, etc and an Air filter with a lifetime warranty . I decided to take advantage of this offer . I called the company and they came out to do the service, there was actually two guys that came over. I was home at the time and one the guys began to clean the air ducts by attaching a machine to only one vent without taking off the vent grill in the first floor, and the other guy went outside to the van and came in by asking me for my credit card to call for verification for the charges of $79.00 which I signed for authorization . So, we went to the second floor. to look at the Air Handler. The guy that went to look at the air handler with me told me that there was a lot of mold on the handler and that I should really have that cleaned because it will affect the children's health and said to me that they will clean it for $375 for 4 years service contract, and I told him no I don't want it because my house is only few years old and I do not want to pay so much for something without getting a 2nd opinion from another company. Then I saw both guys start arguing and told me that the longer I wait the more it will affect the family and the kids and that this is something that should be done and that they can do it now while the Air Handler is apart. I continued to say no to him and they immediately started to wrap things up to leave without cleaning the dryer vent and checking the A/C unit and air filter, and I asked them what about the dryer vent, the A/C unit and Air filter, and one them told me don’t worry and still kept trying to sell me on the mold cleaning and gave me a new receipt signed by one them by adding $375.00 for air duct treatment without my permission and without my authorization and for a service they did not do for me, as you see it passed from $79.00 to $476.5 by charging my credit card a total of $476.5 for a service they did not do for me , and I said to them are you for real , where is the first receipt they went outside to the van and they left. After all I realized it was a scam, rip-off and I got robbed by Air Care Solutions. So right away I contacted the company and the credit card company to explain to them what happened about the charges by requesting a full refund , but Air Care Solution said someone would call me back so I waited for a couple of days and no one called so then I called and explained again the situation and the woman on the other line said the supervisor would be calling me back soon and there is no refund but weeks and months went by and nothing.
