I am selling an item on craigslist and received a couple emails from this person. All the signs of fraud are present. Buyer is out of state, has not seen the item, but wishes to pay for it sight unseen. Say they will make pick-up arrangements after funds clear PayPal. The reply email was the same both times (word for word). Grammar was awful. I suspect this to be a scam.

I too had the VERY same experience. I'm trying to sell a bedroom set for $5,000. This person asked me what was the minimum I'd sell it for. She also sent me her personal email address. Then she stated exactly what you stated above (out of state, willing to buy item withoiut seeing it, paypal, pick-up after funds clear Paypal). Asked for my paypal account and my address. What are you trying to sell? How much? I think this is a scam, but trying to figure out how it might work.
