I was applying online for a loan and got a call from GE Capitol bank saying I was approved for a $5000 loan at 10% and i needed to put $750 on aVanilla prepaid card and call them with the card information and then the would release my funds within 4 or 5 hours.
I kept calling and they kept giving me excuses and telling me that they transfred the money into my account and I could use the $750 cards for what ever i needed them for.
They never transfered the money and the cards were already set up and I coudn't even get access to them.
I called them back and they said the credit department put it on hold until I repair my credit for another $345 and then in a couple of days it will be released.
I called them liars and told them I want some paper work or cancel the loan and they told me then I will loose my $750..So they ripped me off and because I didn't use my debit card to buy them and paid cash there is nothing I can do?
