I ordered a credit card from First Premier Bank in 2012 with a 23.9% interest, no monthly fee just a annual fee to reestablish my credit. I have never been late on a payment. In 3/13 I received my statement saying that my interest was now 36%. On 3/7/13 I received a call on my cell and at my office that my card was compromised and they would be sending me a new card and to activate it immediately by using it. On 3/27/13 I received my new card stating that as of next month my interest is 36% and there is a $14.50 monthly fee. First Premier changed all the terms then called to say my card was compromised to get me to use the card, thus activating it would be agreeing to there terms... that is as low down as it gets. I called and told them I did not agree with the new terms and they said I basically had no choice. On 4/18 I received a letter from Julie Gibson that included copies of my supposed disclosure dated after I opened my account and old xerox type copy of terms... they still have the print registration marks like it was just edited and printed in some type of graphics program. Please ask them to hold there original agreement or close my account at the original 23% on final bill or should I go to small claims?
