I tried to setup a calling account for my daughter and I was given a number. I already have an account with Global Tel Link which is required to be activated once I'm given this special number. I called several times to check if the number was working and the merchant told me that the number was activated, but when my daughter called from the jail, the call would not go through. I called immediately informing them the number did not work. My daughter tried several attempts. They refused to refund my money. They also put 2 charges on my account for the $70.58. So, they double charged me as well. I called the Bank of America that same day and reported the fraud. I'm still fighting for my money back and have been for 6 months. Jail Call Services has hundreds of complaints on the website from different sources. I was charged for a service that I did not receive. This is fraud and it is simply illegal to charge someone for services not rendered. Thank you for your time.
