I received a letter with my business entity number on it, asking for a payment of $225. on or before 4/15/2103. In it was the warning that a penalty of $250. will be assessed by the Franchise Tax Board even thought they are a "private service company." Sheesh. They had a semi-official looking seal. I did not write them a check...
