PLEASE, CUSTOMER BE AWARE !!!!!!!!!!

I looked up on a google search for an Apple tech support , got a number 877 889-2129. After I called that number a recording came on asking with which Apple product I need help....press 2 for an IPAD, which I did . Finally a representative came on asking what kind of problem am I experiencing with the device. I described that I am having an issue with the email....his respond was " no problem, we can fix that"... Put me on hold, and a few min later told that it will be a charge of 199.99+tax=249.99$.
I was in total shock. I am located in Canada and never had to pay for a tech help with any device. After arguing for 15 min he convinced me that Apple charges for their service and that is the only way how my IPAD can be fixed. I was stupid enough to give him credit card#....Only after transaction has been completed he transferred to the actual tech support representative. After several hours(all in total 5 hours on a phone) my IPAD has been fixed. The final words to me was " is any other devices has to be fixed in my house?"...I was totally shocked by this question....he explain to me that this company charges annual fees to fix "everything, but the toaster oven". Right there I new I was SCAMMED...this company is a SCAM.
Few hours later I called back and asked for a refund . I offered a fee of 50$ ( that what Apple store charges)....my offer has been decline . Supervisor on duty never took my request to speak to her. I was offered 50$ rebate ( which I suppose to get anyway after 90 days ). After arguing and pleading my case I was offered a restaurant certificate value 150$ (3x50&)... The only problem, I am in Canada...vouchers are in USA. Took it just because.....no use to me.
Unfortunately my problem wasn't solve....but people should know.

  • Sorry, that you feel that way.... I offered 50$ fee ( exactly what Apple store charges). Representative lied to me....1) that they are an Apple tech support
    2) that Apple charges a yearly fees for their service , which is a lie
    3) didn't have to pay 199.99$ to fix an IPAD

Not a way how to attract a customer. Read a reviews about this company. SCAM SCAM SCAM
