Received a letter from this company stating I needed to file a 'Statement of Information Corporate Officers List', and that I owed $225 by 4/15. READ THE FINE PRINT! The text box towards the top of the page states '...this fine will not be assessed if you do not submit this filing to Corporate Business Filings. Corporate Business Filings is a Private Service Company.' Also, the header above my company's name looked suspicious:

this is what i use to identify junk mail in my mailbox. I pulled out my checkbook in a panic but am so lucky I took a deep breath and did some research!
