I signed up for a free 7 day trial subscription that claimed that if I cancelled within that time there would be no charges.

I tried the service and found it useless and confusing and tried to cancel a couple of hours later and could not. Its difficult to find the Cancel Subscription tab and when I did find it and filled out the information and confirmed that I did want to cancel I got a screen that said OOPS! And Error has Occurred and was advised to contact Customer Service that went back to the previous screen and when that was done again - I got OOPS!.

I think Archives.com is a scam. I did find the phone # on this web site and called and a nice young man said that perhaps the problem was my internet browser. He did cancel charges and gave me a confirmation #, but I've probably spent more time cancelling than using their services.
