2/25/2013 02:16 PST - I received a package that was not as advertised, was a fake and was shipped from China and not Canada as their website indicates. They do not answer the phone and their website email link is broken, here are the facts: I have tried to contact this seller. www.lacewigsbuy.com There are very fraudulent issues going on with this business. The wig I ordered was to be of human hair, 14" in length and wavy. I was told that the wig came from Canada. Instead it arrived in a battered and sunk in box from China. It did NOT arrive within 7 days. It was not of any quality at all! In fact, this site has a bait and switch game going on. The wig smells like gas and glue. It is maybe 12" long with netting all around it in front of the hairline. There are very visible holes all over the wig where no hair covers it and cannot be adjusted. The loose waves are very tight ringlet curles indicative of another style. My wig looks like a longer afro or a rockstar grunge guy having a horrible hair day. The wig is fake, ruined from unprofessional shipping and some kind of toxic smelling factory odor that is not normal and truly awful to smell. The style, quality, length and origin are completely different than what I saw and purchased. I believe I was scammed. Paypal could not get them to reply to a dispute process. They asked me to return the product for a refund to an address than neither they nor I could confirm and is not on the website. This address is: XU XUI,19-3 BUILDING A, MEI ZHUAN XIAO RD, Shang Qingshi, Chongqing Municipality,400015, China. I did so with proof from the postal clerk who assisted me with knowledge of the situation and the customs number receipt as well as the postal receipt. Paypal as I knew, could not confirm that the seller received it and wouldn't investigate my receipts or proof from there, not to mention the fact that noone knows what kind of an address this is and the seller in documented dispute history has not responded to anything and is totally uncooperative and dishonest. I got totally screwed and have wasted much time and money. I am NOT willing to accept this kind of unprofessionalism or dishonest sales practices. I have been victimized by this shop and in a country where I paid for and purchased a supposedly quality, beautiful item from North America. Instead I have been scammed by Chinese con artists with a hotmail address as their business contact information: [email protected] that were never represented as part of this deal. Please hold this seller accountable to law in which country their products are being sold. I am ready to involve my bank & the better business bureau to report unethical and illegal activity. I was advised to file first with you.
