This company is fraudulently collecting on outstanding debt and trying to waste my time, my team members time, and making false allegations.

The following is the email they sent:
In the event we do not receive your payment by the deadline, we will advise our client to consider retaining one of our local affiliate attorneys for litigation.

If litigation becomes necessary, you may be held responsible for additional costs of this action including, but not limited to, court costs, your attorney fees and other litigation expenses that the court may award.
