About two months ago I received an e-mail informing me that I had been accepted into some kind of club to receive monthly dietary supplements and that my credit card would be automatically billed. I had ordered a product from this company a year ago but have had no contact with them since. This membership was unsolicited and I immediately called the company and sent an e-mail requesting to be dropped from the program and informing them I hadn't ordered anything and didn't want to receive their products. I also contacted the referenced credit card company to let them know of the situation and that any charges from them weren't authorized. Unfortunately a charge has been posted to my statement anyway. Today I have had to file a report for fraud and close my credit card account to prevent future charges.
