My wife and I decided to try out the new Waffle House that opened about 6 weeks ago. I have never seen such disorganized waiter and other help. Half of them were just standing around getting in one anothers way. Waitress were not trained in ordering let alone serving dishes. We only had coffee , City ham and waffles. They served us coffee, had to ask for creamer and sugar substitute. The waiter brought the ham to the table, about 5-10 minutes later she brought one waffle ( about a 1/4 inch thick- Perkins Restaurant has thicker pancakes than that) literally handed it to me rather than serving my wife first. I gave it to my wife and she should have refused it but being the graceful person did not say anything. After my ham was completely cold I still had not been served my waffle nor did I get any excuse I called the waitress over gave her the ham (Untouched) and stated the ham is cold , you have not brought my waffle and I cancelled the order but since my wife had eaten about half of her meal I did pay the $8.03 for hers. For your information the bank of waffle makers had more waffle mix running on the outside than being made inside the machine. I have been a Mess(Cafeteria) Officer in tha U.S. Army would not have this disorganization or my person in charge would have been fired along with his cooks. In fact I have done just that. I will not be back to this waffle House again and I will be very selective in the future. You lost a long time customer.
