I purchased a home warranty with Colonial. I paid the premium they quoted me. Afterward, I submitted a home repair claim. The company would not honor the claim. I wrote to the company, via the e-mail they listed and then I sent a letter via certified mail to them. This after repeatedly calling them to no avail--no one answered. Shortly thereafter, I noticed Colonial had taken several debits from my bank account in $4. amounts. I wrote a greivance letter about that too. No response! It is now almost one year past. Colonial calls my phone number constantly with aggressive sales people asking for a contract renewal. When I ask them to be forwarded to a supervisor in customer service, I am dropped off the line or forwarded to an ineffectual call center. Some of the call center people are combative as though they are trying to stall the phone call because there is no bonafide customer service.
I believe Colonial is running a scam. It is unthinkable that a legitimate company would not respond after all my attempted contact.
I want recompense for $$ they charged me.
