Please help me....Verizon Wireless bought out Centennial Wireless, who I was with. I had to get one of their phones. I was told if I had trouble with the phone I could exchange it in 14 days. They didn't tell me up front that I would have to pay $35.00s more to exchange the phone. I am a 75 year old woman. Like many other senior citizens I have trouble hearing and hitting my numbers (cause my hand shakes) These people (once you've signed their agreement) couldn't care less for senior citizens... how many of us are money raped by Verizon Wireless. can you help me get a phone I can use... I hate the thought of fighting with this phone 2 years Thank you for being there

  • I had a similar incident. The phone did not work and they said they had to charge me the $35 for restocking. I am so sorry. After 10+ years of being overcharged by Verizon I finally went to a prepaid phone. I had my children's phones on my acct for years. They say it is only $10 for each additional line but my bill for 4 phones ranged between $250 and $350 every month when it should have been $79 + $30. I finally got all my kids to get their own accts. and got through my contact and left. I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST A PREPAID PLAN. You'd be amazed at how inexpensive a phone can be. You can buy a phone for less than $35.
