I, like the rest, set up an account to recieve calls from my husband in jail on January 26th. I received my first call and then nothing. I also put $25 on my Securustech account, (because you have to have money on there for the actual phone calls). After January 31 and no phone calls I contacted Securus Tech because there was a block placed on the line by them so that was the reason I was not recieving phone calls. Securus informed me that their system had detected the phone number provided to me by Jail Call Services as a call forwarding line, which it is, and that unless I could prove that I owned that phone number they would be unable to remove the block. I have contacted JCS 13 times since February 1 and been assured that this would be taken care of. I have given up at this point and am just accepting it as a loss, but told them that unless I received a refund I was going to report to everyone who would listen so others would not get ripped off.
