I got screwed by IMPRESSION VACATIONS!!!!! I have filed a complaint with the BBB in their state.

My numerous statements of...."I'M NOT INTERESTED", fell on deaf ears! They charged my credit card anyway!

  • I also wondered how Impress Vacations got my credit card number.

I spoke with a CSR at my credit card company and asked him. I was told that your account number is SOLD to people like this. OMG!!!!!!

  • I don't think they could have got your full credit card number without you giving them part of it? If this was true you could file a complaint with the police. I don't believe the BBB can do much for you either as they are not registered with them. The best thing to do would to send them a formal complaint and tell them you want your money refunded in writing. These people are ruthless and will stop at nothing to get your money and never give you anything in return. As far as I know if they have promised you a refund, Visa may be able to help you.

  • I think it's a shame that so many people post on this site with the freedom to make-up lies and about a company. I just returned from an amazing vacation that I booked through Impress. I too was called by Impress three months ago. I was told that as part of a promotion I was eligible for a wonderful Florida vacation. I was not told that I had "won" a trip, I was clearly informed that it was part of a promotion. I was told that the deposit was non-refundable (this is standard in the travel industry. I just lost $1,700.00 on two Delta tickets that were non-refundable) Our trip was worth well over $2000.00 - we were able to enjoy a cruise and two theme parks. Okay, the only bummer was is that we had to sit through a 90 minute timeshare pitch, but in all fairness, Impress told us about that prior to taking our deposit. So, for $574.00 USD - about $600 CD, our family of four had a great time! Thanks Impress! There is no way Impress had your credit card number unless you gave it to them. I honestly believe a lot of the complaints on this board are either bogus, placed by a competitor, or placed by people that simply didn't listen to the terms. How can someone be pushy or not take no for an answer - why didn't you simply hang-up on the phone?
