My initial call was about an apple product in 11/15/12. They represent themselves as though they are Apple certified support providers. I was told I could pay for a one-time 30-day service for $59.99. I was at work without the product and was told to call that evening. I called that evening and the tech person I spoke to was the most incompetent support person I had ever spoken to. It was shocking. During the call the tech informed me that they had no affiliation with Apple at all. It became clear, this woefully unqualified person could not possibly have worked for Apple. Immediately, I felt I was dealing with a scam. Of course the very next morning, 11/16/12, I called to complain and request a refund. Not only did I not receive a refund, they told me it would be a $79.99 charge. After trying to dispute the bait n' switch charge and receive compensation altogether for the ineffective and incompetent service, I was put on hold for long periods, presumably in hopes that I would simply hang up. I was refused my request to speak to a supervisor repeatedly. I finally accepted defeat on the refund and cancelled the subscription I never subscribed to in the first place. This morning, 2/13/13, I look at my account and they've charged me another $79.99. MyTechHelp is a fraud unit. I contacted them, spoke with three very rude and unprofessional ladies -Carla, Crystal and Anne - who acknowledged that I had disputed the charge, registering a complaint and requesting to cancel anything that could be construed as subscription, back on 11/16/12. Inexplicably, they still refused to refund the February charge. Simply saying there were no refunds. I have never experienced such overtly fraudulent activity in all my dealing with any company.
