I wish that I'd conducted deligence checks on my own before subjecting myself to being ripped-off by Home Cash Success. They are NOT registered with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and they are a complete set scam of artists, and quite sophisticated too. I was researching furthering my degree online and saw the link to earn $$$ by working from home for just 4 hours a day and saw numerous testimonials & copies of the attendant checks bearing high sums. I had also received an email some time before about Home Cash Success that was apparently touted by MSNBC. So I figured they must be solid and registered with them and agreed to an immediate $19 hold on my credit card and acknowledged that I would be billed $99 to join within 3 days of commencement. However, I could not access their web address. As a result I sent a printscreen of the fault I was receiving to their support dept and received no feed-back. I also did not receive the consultation call I requested. This unresponsiveness was rather unnerving and that little voice in my head (which we should all listen to more often) prompted me that this was probably too good to be true and so I decided against continuing membership and tried earnestly to reach the customer service line on day 2. I was kept on hold for an excessively long period and gave up.

On day 3, I tried again and got through to a male rep who I shared their shortcomings with. Despite his apology, and vague answers to my questions about the nature of the product and learning that I would need to pay additionally for a website. I indicated that I wished to cancel and withdraw my membership immediately. It should be borne in mind that as stated above - day 3 is the day the charge will be applied to your credit card. So I felt my timing was well placed to avoid this. The rep informed that it was cancelled. A few days later the charge appeared on my statement ... I called them up and this is where they give you the run-around.

I waited for the supervisor who says he sees the cancellation and he'll send a report to the tech desk, however they don't come in until late, so he can't say when he'll have a response but he'll call when he gets a response. They never call. After multiple calls on my part he says they're still looking into it. I receive an email from the supervisor eventually saying he contacted the billing manager and she apologised for the delay and he would share her response when received.

I called back for feed-back since they didnt call, only to hear the supervisor say - my money will NOT be refunded because I failed to cancel before 3 days and I signed up for a 3-day trial program!!! I claimed that this was not indicated anywhere in the terms presented (and its still not there, as I had someone else register to establish this after, but who stopped short of the financial transaction). Had this been so, it would also suggest that my "3-day trial plan" was an isolated offer. They failed to recognise that if this were truly the case from the beginning; the gentleman who accepted the cancellation would have pointed this out - by informing sorry it's too late. The supervisor had ample time to share this with me as well and certainly didn't need to refer anything to the tech team or billing manager and would have prevented the numerous calls and time wasted???? Despite my protestation, he had the gall to email me a manufactured refund policy which explained that you have 3-days to try the system for free and thereafter the amount of $99 is non-refundable. There was also no manager to speak to and he was the highest in authority, so I should pretty much, take-it or leave-it.

At no time during these calls did he share this policy, and the facts of my "cancellation call" was expressed during my follow-up call to them following the appearance of their charges.
These people are not governed by ETHICS and need to be put out of business before they rip anyone else off. If you have been burned by them, please I implore you to share your story so that unsuspecting persons who were lured by the "misplaced" legitimacy lent to "Home Cash Success" by the MSNBC report can be fully informed of their practice.
