I payed $140 for the boxed set of Dark Shadows. I received my DVD's but a lot of them won't play, and some freeze and nothing I do will get them to play. I've bought 3 different DVD players and the discs just will not play, so it is the discs. I beleive they are copies.

  • I made the same order from DVD Gator, it never showed up, so then I ordered the Dark Shadows boxed set from Amazon.com for $332. I got it in less than a week. The package weighed 13.2 pounds and there are 126 DVDs that have the episodes on them. This is about how many DVDs you should have gotten. And if one of the DVDs are broken or don't play, MPI will replace them free. Of course you'd have to pay postage to send them the damaged disc, only a few dollars. And my bank did refund me my money back. If the order doesn't arrive in six weeks, you can legitimately claim non-delivery, because nothing anywhere in the world should take over six weeks to deliver, and then you will still have enough time to dispute your charges with your bank. My bank gave me 60 days.
