I have just had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever encountered with a company. DO NOT BECOME A MEMBER OF JUSTFAB, THEY ARE CROOKS. When I first signed up with this company I only thought, “Oh this is cool, cute shoes for cheap!” Unfortunately, I didn’t understand that cheap meant that this company would be stealing money from me every month. For anyone who doesn’t know, after you first make a purchase from JustFab, you will continue to be billed 40 dollars every month regardless of whether you buy something or not. If I had known that unauthorized charges were going to be made to my credit card I NEVER would have bought ANYTHING from this fraudulent company. I’m a poor student who definitely doesn’t have the kind of money to be charged with some stinking “credit” every month.
I realized in December that these unauthorized charges were being made and I panicked and immediately called the customer service, which is very bad by the way. After waiting AGES on hold, I finally got put through to someone who was very rude to me and acted like she didn’t want to speak to me AT ALL. I explained my situation to her and told her that I wanted my account canceled and a refund but she just kept saying “you should have read the terms and conditions, it’s your fault, I can’t do anything etc” She was very mean about it. I eventually gave up and told her to just cancel the account and I would make a report of it to the California Attorney General. She just said “Ok.” I thought that was the end of it. I was wrong. Today my dad brought to my attention another charge from JustFab on the credit card. This seemed weird since I had canceled 2 months ago, but I went online and SURPRISE! I was able to log into my account and see more “VIP CREDITS.” The fashion consultant never did cancel my account and the company had continued to make the charges. I called the customer service line again and after waiting 30 minutes I finally got put on the phone with someone named “Star.” I told her that I had already canceled 2 months ago and I was still being charged. She put me on hold and apparently “reviewed my last call.” When she got back on the line with me she said that I had never told the last woman to cancel my account, even though I had definitely said it at least 2 or 3 times and there were several people in the room with me who had heard me say it!!! She refused to refund the transactions made to the credit card and was just as unhelpful as the last person I spoke to. My dad spoke to Star briefly because he wanted to know what was going on, and when he asked if he could hear the recording of the last call she refused and said he couldn't unless he had a lawyer contact them I amazed at just how shady this company is and how difficult they made it just to get the account canceled after making all those unauthorized charges. My only consolation is that we were able to get the credit card company to block any further charges from JustFab so that they would not be able to pull the wool over our eyes again.
