On 1/23 I received from Goedecker's a used washer and a used dryer for the brand new ones I ordered since black Friday. Their explanation for the white film, brown stains, sticky white gook in the dispenser's tube, the water stains and the debris inside the drum and all the other evidence those appliances have been used is that Whirlpool sometimes carry random tests on appliances before packaging them for shipping. What a bunch of bologna! Now I have 2 months worth of laundry waiting to be done because I didn't expect my order to take that long so I disposed of my old ones as the contractor had to move outlets brake walls and change cabinets to prepared my kitchen for the new washer, dryer, fridge and stove. The last two had to be taken back after 2 long months of waiting because they arrived badly damaged. It took me a week to order and receive the stacking kit needed for the install. As I waited for the contractor to arrive last Saturday, I decided to get familiar with the washer and dryer when I realized what was done to me. I called immediately and now Goedecker's claims that based on the serial #s Whirlpool assured them those items are brand new and anybody who can see will immediately concluded upon seeing what I am seeing that those items were previously used. Goedecker's contend that because they are new if I decide to return them I have to pay shipping and restocking fee. And I still don't have any idea when I will get my range and refrigerator that I ordered since 11/23
What a mess! They will not stand behind the fact that their very deceiving practice did not work with me. Most people do not inspect their items with keen eyes upon receiving them. I cansee where they can get away with selling reconditioned and refurbished merchandises for new ones. I wish people were more perceptive and inquisitive. What nam I to do now? Does anyone out there has any advice for me? Please?
