It has been two and a half years since I signed the Platinum Contract with RPI for my book and paid the $3499 USD for their services. While the book has been published in small quantities for purchase on line, we have not seen any evidence of the extra services that were to be provided in the Platinum deal.

Points to note regarding breach of contract:

The book was not published within 365 days of contract date.

The book was not printed in the size nor with a hard cover as amended/agreed in the original contract.

It took nine months from the date I ordered and paid $400 for my own 100 copies for them to arrive on my door step.

There have been no reports on sales nor sharing of profits despite numerous requests for sales reports. I have not been paid a cent even though I know of sales (including my own 100).

There has been no evidence of PR/marketing of the book despite numerous requests to see the media releases and to get a list of where these have been sent as per Platinum service paid.

There has been no evidence of the book being broadcasted on the Raider Publishing website
as per Platinum service paid.

There has been no evidence of TV, radio, or web advertising despite numerous searches for my book to find promotional material, as per Platinum service paid.

The Raider Publishing Magazine has not been updated since 2010 and therefore my book has not been featured as per Platinum service paid.

Despite numerous requests there has been no personal website creation which I have now had to do at my own personal expense (additional $1500), despite that being part of Platinum services paid.

My book has yet to be published in e-book format as part of Platinum services paid.

My book has yet to be published in audio format as part of Platinum services paid.

There have been no book signing arrangements as promised.

I do not seem to have a Personal Assistant as per my agreement and my emails are rarely replied to nor my requests followed up.

Given I have not received the Platinum service that I signed and paid for, I proposed that Raider reimburse those costs and simply charge me the basic Bronze Package instead given that is more like the service I received.

I have not sought reimbursement for extra costs incurred for my own marketing nor for the cost of my author webite.

I have simply requested that RPI owe me $2650 USD being the different between the basic package and the Platinum package.

During this process I asked that RPI return my illustrator's artwork so that my book could be reprinted via a different route. We have yet to receive it.

Raider Publishing International have not replied to any of my emails or phone calls.

  • Hi LSL, what about that formal complaint you are filing with American Law Enforcement? Did you think to lodge a case with the Small Claims Court? I wrote a note to the FBI myself, since the amount of damage Raider has done practically surmounts to terrorism.
