I signed a contract for deed with CIG Realty for them to purchase a property. being sold at auction. Contract clearly states a 15 day refund policy if for any reason they do not purchase the property. I wired them a $5000 deposit, however the auction was cancelled and I requested a refund of my money. CIG Realty has refused to refund my money, and from what I am seeing online the same thing is happening to many other people. They scammed me out of $5000 and I want my money back.

Update. I spoke to a girl who works there by the name of Julianna and explained the situation. She stated company was not going out of business. She also told me the owner is Keith Anthony not Anthony Podias. She said she would have me speak to their lawyer who's name is Gus, upon further questions she told me his full name is Constantine Jiannacos. When I googled the name I came up with Law Offices of Constantine C. Giannakos 128 Front St Mineola, NY 11501 (1st Floor)516-741-0302. Im still waiting for the call but at least now I have a little more info. Hopes this helps some.

CIG Realty is working diligently to correct some issues that arose from the implementation of our initial business model and miscommunication between former employees and our customers.
Our objective is to satisfy any and all concerns of our customers and continue to move forward with our business.
Unfortunately CIG Realty was the victim of a malicious internet campaign that spread misinformation about the company’s business dealings and intentions. This campaign was implemented by disgruntled former employees. It is the policy of CIG not to discuss specific personnel issues.
CIG is in the process of contacting all its customers to address any concerns and answer any and all questions they may have. In addition CIG has hired a full time employee to handle inquiries.
CIG is dedicated to addressing our client’s concerns including refunding monies and scheduling new closing dates.
CIG is cooperating with the State Attorney’s office to assure customers complaints are being handled in a timely fashion.
