- Gail...he told me he had no children...his wife and son were killed in a fiery crash in NYC, not in Afghanistan, or so he says...retired from the Army in Oct, in Africa, he says. Glad you didn't send money, sorry I did!! I only did because I have the highest regard for our servicemen and appreciate what they've done and are doing!
