When I called them (using an 800 number which I thoght was for tech support for AOL), they hackedd into my computer and displayed a list of viruses which they said needed to be removed immediately or all my records could be erased. I signed up for a one-year contract for which Sunrise would keep a better eye on viruses entering my computer. I was first alerted to deceipt when they showed a charge to my credit card for $299 Australian dollars. The next day, I took my computer to an expert technician in my area who said the computer was never compromised and that Sunrise had displayed the viruses with an underhanded method of their own; once Sunrise convinced me of the danger, they removed the entries they had made. I have contested the charge on my credit card with my credit card company. I therefore do not need your help but wish only to warn others of this scam.
