I received an email from an acquaintance asking if I knew David Casey Sr. He asked if I had gotten my money yet. He said it was part of the Empowerment Supportive Program and Mr. Casey was a government agent. He said he received $150,000 and he saw my name on the manifest when he signed for his money and assumed I knew about it. He told me to send him a friend request and he wanted me to do that right then so he could tell me what to do next. That is when I went online and found the other scams reported here about Empowerment Supportive Program. I didn't go any further with it but I just wanted people to know what name they are using now.

- I just want them to get caught because they are obviously hacking into facebook accounts and there is the potential for someone unaware this is a scam to lose a lot of money. Thank you.

I received the same type of email. I had a friend that told me that she received a check for 90,000 and I was to add this person to receive my winnings. I lost 1,600 from this.

This JUST happened to me!! The person was Gordon Clinton who claimed to be the one dispersing the money. He asked for $550 for a FedEx processing fee. I promptly unfriended him and alerted my friend that her FB account had been hacked.
