I called Air Care Solutions on August 19th, 2012 for an appointment. Mo and Einstein came out on August 20th to go over their A/C units with me. Mo informed me that I would need a 5 ton unit for a 2100 sq ft Condo, so we scheduled an appointment for my unit to be installed the next day, August 20th, 2012. Air Care Solutions sent out two spanish speaking gentlemen that I could not even communicate with and it took them over five hours to install my unit.

I called Mo the next day to inform him that I did not believe they measured for my gold filter that I had already paid for. Mo and Einstein came out that evening to measure and when they went to show me where the filter was, since obviously the other two gentlemen did not know what I was asking, Mo realized that the unit was installed wrong. It took Mo over an hour and a half to re-do the pipe for the unit so I could have access to the filter.

A few weeks went by and I did not have my filter as promised. I had paid the $5000 on August 19th, which included everything. I called the office to ask where the filter was and they informed me (I believe it was Lily) that there were no measurements in the system and the filter had not been ordered.

I asked to speak with the Manager, Janette. She said there were no measurements recorded amd scheduled another time for them to come out and measure. This went on for three more times and today is January 8th, and I still do not have my filter.

I spoke with Yande this morning and she informed me that there were no measurements in the system still and that the unit has not been ordered.

I have called this company over 15 times since August 20th, 2012, have had to take off numerous times from work to make sure I am at my house. Three of those times no one showed or called to tell me they were running late and would not be there. They also came out on a Saturday without letting me know, so of course I was not home to let them come in and measure.

I have called and asked to speak to the Manager, Janette numerous times and have been told she would return my call. She called me back once, acted like this was all my fault, started yelling at me, then eventually hung up on me when I started getting defensive, which I have every right to be at this point and time.

I am asking for $2500 for being told I needed a 5 ton unit versus a 4 ton unit. A 5 ton unit is for any dwelling space of 2600 sq ft or more and a 4 ton is for 2100 sq ft, which is what I have. Mo, however informed me that I needed a 5 ton unit. This amount also includes the times I had to take my personal vacation time off work to be at the house waiting for them, for all the calls I made from my phone and the business phone and for all my time and trouble over the past five, almost six months.

I already paid for something months and months ago that I cannot get, so in turn, I am supposedely the bad person and now have to go to more trouble by filing a claim on this site, the BBB and contacting an Attorney!
