I too have recieved letter informing me that I have inherited the above amount and asking that I send a cheque for £35 (or £40 for a speedy reply) to receive the inheritance. I was very suspicious of this letter as I have received countless communications that I will recieve large sums of money, from someone called Friedrich Mueller of the Netherlands. This latest letter is signed by Frederic Spencer of Miller & Spencer, a bit close for coincidence. I think they are probably the same people trying a new scam but without enough imagination to think up new names, or maybe this is their real names and they are stupid enough to use them. They willnot be getting any money from me.
