I was contacted to buy an auto insurance plan from auto insurance scheild. They were rude, if fact calling me a hypocrite. I have been recently laid off from my job and asked if they could possibly give me to the end of the day to determine if I had the money in my budget. Robert, told me that I was a lyre, and continued to laugh when I said that I was in a financial crisis at the time and needed to review the contract. Also, I said that I needed to speak to my son who has been helping me during an unusual difficult time. I was totally disrespected and feel that this company is a total sham. DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY ABUSE YOU!!!

We do not sell service contracts directly to the public; we do not solicit business by mail or by telephone; and we do not have a representative named Robert. If you were contacted by a company who identified themselves as American Auto Shield, I would be happy to look into the matter further.
In addition, if you were in fact contacted by an authorized seller of AAS contracts and you were treated rudely by one of their representatives, I sincerely apologize; we certainly don’t condone that kind of behavior. However, without specific information I’m not able to determine who contacted you and/or if they are an authorized seller of our contracts.
