I was selling an item on Craigslist for $300. Micheal Phillip offered that plus $50 for my hassle of going to Western Union / cashing check, etc. Today, I received a check from UL International Service via FedEx with the name Brandon Little, West Texas RV, P.O. Box 3454, Abilene, TX 79604. The check is a Chase Manhattan Bank check for $2,733.00. I knew immediately it was a scam and googled it and found this site. And now I received an email from Micheal Phillip and instructions to deposit the check and send the balance after I keep my $450 to Serena Boyd, San Diego, CA. 92102. I will contact the police and see what direction they want to take.
