Buyer Beware when buying from Sahalie.com; lots of internet complaints about their rewards scam. After your order, there apparently is some offer which auto-subscribes you to their "rewards" program, which charges you $14.95 per month on your credit card. We have no recollection of signing up for this nor did we receive any mailing (per the rep on the phone, we were supposed to receive some reward packet info).

Bottom line, we were getting charged $14.95 per month. Due to an (bad) assumption these were legit purchases, we didn't catch it for 9 months. Yes, we should have been more diligent reviewing our credit card statements; but this should never have happened in the first place.

First, I called their rewards number (1-888-354-6341) and talked with someone who was willing to credit our account for one month. After a TON of pushback, I ultimately received three months of credit from him. I tried to escalate to a manager, but apparently he was the manager (or there wasn't anyone else). Secondly, I called my CC company and put in a formal dispute for as far back as I could go. Thirdly, I called the normal customer service line (1.800.458.4438) and they took my complaint with the expectation that someone would get back to me. Not holding my breath, but will follow-up again if I don't hear from them.

Bottom line: See what you can get credit-wise and don't bother shopping from a company with such a scammy practice. I hope they enjoy their short-term gain, because I will certainly not order from them again.
