Believed I dialed the Apple customer care number somehow I was given a number 877 889 2129 to call after being interrupted by someone wanting to sell me discounted dining cards.( later finding out promoted through MY Tech help.) This number got me to MTH and I thought I was talking with Apple Care. They told me my service contrct had ended and needed to purchase a new contract for 99.99 ( later to find out its a reoccurring charge of two more payments of 99.99)but I still had apple care service contract remaining. I was also convinced that I had a lit of virusses on my computer and need to purchase a anti virus software to clean it out. the anti Virus found no viruses and the issue with my computer was only updates. when dialing the number above it will tell you, " thank you for call technical support for your apple products" making you believe this is apple but it sends you to mytechhelp. If you choose opt1 "if you calling for technical support please choose 1 you will end up with my tech help.( Stangely enough if you choose billing or customer service(option2) it will first ask you if you are interested in this gift card, if you press no it brings you directly to the actual Apple care. After calling the company back explaining my situation they refused to refund my money and told me it was impossible for that to happen. when i called the number explained above on my cell phone and had them listen to the part that says welcome to apple, they placed me on hold and eventually dropped the call. Company is unethical and are scammers stay away and becareful when you give out that card # !!!
